Emergency "G" Annual Requalification Course (4 Hours)

Choosing The Right Training academy to obtain your "G" Armed Security license makes all the difference. Here at The Right Training, LLC, students will obtain a thorough understanding of what it takes to become a licensed security officer. With 30+ years of combined experience in the security industry, law enforcement, military and private investigations, our "DI" and "K" licensed instructors explain the similarities and the differences between law enforcement officers and security officers.

Our Security Officer training courses meet and exceed the State of Florida "G" curriculum. Plus we give more input than any other training location, simply because all of our instructors are currently active or retired Security Officers with 30+ years of hands on experience. Classes are kept small (usually 3–10) and are taught in a comfortable environment.

We prepare our Security Officers to take their place in a fast growing and rewarding career.

You must provide your own firearm and ammunition. State license fees are NOT included.

Security Officer (Armed) - Class “G” Yearly Requalification

Course Description:

In order to remain eligible to continue to carry a Class “G” license, during each 12-month period of the two-year term of a Class “G” license, including the first 12-month period after the license was initially issued to the license holder, a Class “G” licensee must successfully complete 4 hours of range and classroom training taught by a Class “K” firearms instructor.

Note – Your “G” license is renewed every 2 (two) years, however, you must re-qualify every year before the month and day listed on your license to keep your license valid.

Example: If your license expiration date is 6/1/23; you must qualify before 6/1 of each year!

DON'T GO IF YOU'RE SENSITIVE! Does he tell you this job is tuff? You betcha. (It is!!) Does he tell you how it is? Yep Give you a nickname for the class? Yeah. Will he hold your hand all the way til you walk off and fall on your face? Mhm! Absolutely. If you have ADHD or dyslexia the coarse is extremely helpful and designed well. Mac made the class fun and enjoyable. Been a PSO (Public Safety Officer) for 8 months and feel like I gained more knowledge from this class than in those 8 month. If you're sensitive or late this class may not be for you. Compared to online, he shows, teaches, and explains how it is. If you don't like him or the list stated above, either do somebody else, or SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP! 11/10 class, would recommend. 100% for all ages above 18. The name speaks for itself. Mac was great, very informative, I feel very confident and proud to have come here. I’ve done security in my past in Philadelphia and the training there lacks so much compared to “the right training”. I went for the D license training and will return for my G license training when the time is right for sure. It’s been said to keep yourself around positive, strong minded people to learn and move up in life, and Mac is one of them. Thanks again.
